We have for sale a Vintage Surveyors Transit, Surveying Compass with Telescope, Mountain Transit
This little Surveyor's Transit or as it is sometimes called a Surveying Compass. These surveying compasses are specifically designed to be very handy and compact. They are used for mountain, forest and land surveying work.
This is made to be very compact and light weight the telescope pivots to the side for travel (as shown in pictures). Another very nice feature is when you collapse the telescope arm for storage the compass needle automatically locks to prevent damage during travel.

Condition; Very nice used condition all features function correctly, it does have a few paint chips from use some paint touchup on compass bottom side of base. Could use a thorough cleaning.
